Michelle Eshkeri

Living in North London, dreaming of a place by the sea with a sprinkle of sunshine here and there. I'm a mum of two boys of whom I am immensely proud. My career began in finance, working for a design agency. I was one of the most popular members of staff on a Friday - I gave out the wage packets to the freelance designers!!

Fast forward 23 years and my love of accountancy was waning some, so I took a deep breath, took redundancy, and set up my own training business. A couple of years in I removed my sons from mainstream school to home-educate them - school was not a great place to be for them. And in 2019, a few short months before the pandemic struck, I opened my second business as a copywriter. I've since closed my training business to fully focus on writing - both marketing materials for other businesses and fiction.

My first book, Nutty the Squirrel, aimed at 3-5-year-olds, was commissioned by Maini Singh and we've gone on to publish five more in the same series. Who knows, one day we may publish some more.

Meantime, I am working on my first novel about childbirth and early parenting. Hoping to get this finished by the end of 2023.
