Michael J. Hands is an Historian, concentrating on English, (British) History, prior to, during and following the events occurring in the year of The three Kings who were crowned as Kings of England in the year 1066, The Authors five books of 'The Wild Edric Saga' follow the lives of Aedric Sylvaticus. ' his wife 'Godda' and their only known son 'Aelnoth'.

Aedric, (aka) 'Wild Edric' is mentioned on numerous occasions in 'The Doomsday Book,' who refer to him as 'Aedric the Wild,' and/or 'Aedric the Savage.'

The five books are (1) The Shieldwall. (2) The Broken Shield. (3) Aelnoth. (4) The Red King. (ie. Rufus,) & (5) The Warrior King. (Richard Cur-de-Leon.)
