My Scotswoman mother taught me never to waste a thing and I use past quirky life situations to colour my writing. My Englishman father gave me a love of nature, laughter, and the written word. After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan I taught elementary grades in Western Canada. My history articles have been published in The Western Producer and Saskatchewan Folklore magazine while my poems appeared in Fellowscript magazine. Four children and eight grandchildren keep life interesting in beautiful Saskatoon, Canada.
