Paul McGrane

Dr Paul McGrane holds a first-class honours in English from Ulster University and a DPhil in English from Oxford University, based on 3 years research on original manuscript material in the Bodleian Library. In this first of a three-volume series, Paul has applied his expertise in textual analysis during a twenty-year research programme, comparing the Old Testament with other ancient texts – notably those preserved in ancient Egyptian records – to try to separate truth from myth or misapprehension and in a search for rationalist solutions to fundamental issues of Christian belief.
