I am a retired firefighter from the Midwest. I was a member of Brookings SD Volunteer Fire Department for 31 years. I am a "sharer" I will will share the pain, the laughs, the high and lows thru my book. I love to tell people that nobody, at the end of their career, says they wish they had spent more time at work. Except firefighters, but we are not right.......we run into burning buildings, not out of them.
