I worked in advertising and the film business, starting as a runner and becoming a successful Producer and CEO. Filming all around the world; I had some hair-raising adventures, met some wonderful people and a lot, not so wonderful. I'm proud of fifty years of marriage to the formidable Jacqui; a rare record in that particular circus. I made hundreds of commercials, a children's TV series and a feature film in Chicago starring Roger Daltrey and Dennis Waterman; and I produced the videos for 'China Girl' and 'Let's Dance' with David Bowie in Australia, which went on to win the Grammy for 'Best Video.' My ‘fifteen minutes of fame’ was probably when Iggy Pop accepted the award in Los Angeles and read out a tribute to my contribution from Bowie (who I put absolutely in the wonderful category).
I always enjoyed writing; commercials, documentaries, short stories, a memoir and a collection of children's books.
