Charlene Madden

Charlene earned a BS degree from MSU in Minnesota and a M.Ed degree from NAU in Arizona. She currently lives in the Tucson area with her husband and continues to explore her love for writing. Working with special needs students, hiking, camping and traveling are other passions and you'll find those life experiences in her books.

Her Dreams series reflects her love of all things realistically magical: Past Dreams, Inclusive Dreams and Spells and Dreams. These books involve magic, fairies, young love, righting wrongs and lots of adventure. Young adults and older ones will enjoy the realistic fantasy series that takes the reader into compassionate understandings of current issues while crossing over into the magical realm.

On a much more serious note, if you or someone you know has had their life touched by suicide, she wrote a short book entitiled AUSTIN: A Mom's Survival of Suicide. Helping someone through this tragic event is her hope.
