My name is Bryony Sier, and I'm from a small town called Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales. I have just finished writing my first book, which has been ongoing for about seven years. During our first lockdown, I completely rewrote it - from start to finish, as I thought it needed some work. I have had a lot of feedback from some BETA readers, sent it off to an old English teacher to read/edit, and it's now at a place where it's ready to be shared.
I have never published my work before and do not have an agent, but I have been writing stories since a very young age. I struggled so much in high school to fit in and was bullied. I turned to songwriting and storytelling, which saved me from the harsh reality of what was currently going on around me. I would spend all my time writing stories and music, which became a healthy way of channelling my emotions and feelings and putting them down on paper.
When I'm not writing books or reading, I am writing songs, playing the guitar and singing to crowds of people from all over the UK. My day job is working with children, and while I enjoy this line of work, my main passions are storytelling and songwriting. They bring me the most joy and fulfilment.
