Maureen Morris lives in Joshua Tree, California, with her two dogs. Surviving in Your Role as a Caregiver is her debut book, and she has plans for other caregiving and self-care books soon.
Maureen is passionate about Caregivers after caring for her beloved husband, Philip, for ten years, who had Lewy Body dementia and Parkinson's disease. She also was a caregiver in the ’90s for 2 years for her mother-in-law with Alzheimer’s. Later in the 2004, she cared for her Mom for a year, who had Rheumatoid Arthritis. She believes that unconditional love and belief in The Lord will conquer all.
Maureen loves walking, meditating, doing TaiChi Zidong and Yoga, going to the gym, reading, cooking, taking naps, and working on her future books. She recently retired from working as a lunch lady at a middle school for the last 14 years.
