Every moment spent reading with a child provides a boost to their literacy as it helps develop and strengthen their learning patterns. That's why I write and design books that make it fun to help your children grow while creating cherished moments that will live in their memory long after we're gone. Reading to children? Best-selling author Hollywood Kay writes fun children's books because she is passionate about the value of childhood experiences. Growing up, charcoal and watercolor were her favorite creative tools. She later enjoyed working with drafting tools to design and create architectural blueprints and civil engineering plans, before marrying and moving overseas. She then obtained a degree in healthcare, making treatments and procedures less stressful by sharing positive energy and a bit of humor with her patients. Having lived many places across the United States, and in Europe, Hollywood Kay now prefers the sunshine and beaches of the Southwest. It is here that she returned to her creative roots, teaching herself to use both illustration and design software, ghostwriting several children’s books, and providing editing and design services while writing her own stories.
