I. Almeida

Inês de Castro Almeida has spent nearly three decades at Thoughtworks, Publicis Sapient, Salesforce and others, leading global consulting teams and major transformations for clients in financial services, retail, government and technology. Her career sits at the intersection of agility, technology and human-centered transformation. She has lived and worked in Germany, the UK and Australia, and recently came home to Portugal to be close to family.

Her work covers AI strategy and readiness, responsible AI and EU AI Act-aligned governance, AI-native operating models, and agentic systems. She is the author of several books, published through her own imprint, Now Next Later AI, including four AI guides with a clear aim to provide an independent, balanced and responsible perspective on AI business adoption.

Today she runs Wyrework and sits with leadership teams to build what they need: the strategy, the rules their AI follows, the way they measure its return. Hands on by design: she builds the tools, and she runs her own company on the agents she tells clients about.

She is a regular speaker at industry events such as Gartner Symposium, SXSW, Women in Tech, and ADAPT. When she's not helping organizations make sense of chaos, she's reading or writing sci-fi.
