Mr. Robinson is a servant leader with exceptional professional talent in public
administration, community development, outreach coordination, community-based public
health, programs, project-driven initiatives, technology, and multi-media service. A
supremely motivated team player focused on organizational strategic planning by
cultivating relationships with existing and potential partners, as well, as implementing sound
internal control systems for sustainability.
Community Leadership and Service (Bio)
DeWaun E. Robinson is a proactive member of our community who currently serves as Chief Executive
Officer at Artistic Visions Enterprise, a social enterprise organization. The AVE brand is committed to serving its community
through mentorship, voluntary work, philanthropic duties, excellence, dedication, and innovation.
DeWaun currently served as the President of the Black Lives Matter – Flint chapter with the primary
focus on empowering Black people in every aspect of life.
DeWaun is a member of the PHI ETA PSI Fraternity Inc. and serves as a Flint Housing Commissioner,
the board of the Greater Flint Arts Council, Chair of the Traditional Juneteenth Festival, Kwanzaa
Principle Celebration, Genesee County Black Caucus, Michigan Democratic Party, Genesee County
Democratic Party, Delegate to the County Convention, and President of Black Lives Matter – Flint.
DeWaun holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration focusing on Non-Profit Management
from Bellevue University and resides in the City of Flint, MI, with his two children DeWaun JR. &
Dalilah Robinson.
