Fern E.M. Buszowski

Fern has dedicated her life to equipping others to grow, develop, and find hope. Most of her career has involved giving back through non-profit, educational, and charity settings. Her unique combination of theology and counselling equipped her to draw from the best of two worlds to provide holistic counselling and soul care for many individuals, groups seeking healing and wholeness.

Fern designed and wrote Soul Care Companioning, Unstuck, and Sojourning, and peer-led programs to train and equip leaders wishing to journey alongside those seeking healing and wholeness. She has provided coaching, team-building workshops, and coach training in international settings for charity-based leaders.

Drawing from personal stories, and her oral cancer journey, Fern E.M. Buszowski invites readers to consider how to Embrace Life, Embrace Hope through the unexpected. In her book, she uniquely weaves concepts and practices from different fields to find ways to not just survive but thrive and discover how to find an enduring hope that helps us uncover how to live well and wholeheartedly in the journey.

Fern and her husband live in the foothills of Alberta, Canada. They have 2 grown married daughters, 2 sons-in-law, and 4 grandchildren.
