Sabine Weiten

Sabine Weiten was born in Germany and spent most of her life in a small town near Cologne before settling in Scotland nearly twenty years ago, where she still lives with her family.

From childhood onwards, books were her favourite companions. She could often be found tucked away in the local library, and even now she rarely passes a bookshop without stepping inside — usually emerging some time later with at least one new treasure in hand.

Since 2007, Sabine has worked as a freelance translator, specialising in the Scottish tourism sector as well as historical and romantic fiction. With her novel Attaboy, she introduced her own storytelling voice to a wider audience for the first time.

More books are already taking shape, each one woven with the same blend of heart, curiosity, and love of story that has followed her throughout her life.
