Karina Bharucha

Born in India, Karina began practicing yoga in school like many Indian children, but it was in her late teens that she became interested in spiritual teachings and began spending time with teachers from different traditions. At the age of twenty, she left her native country to pursue a degree in psychology in France. Trained as a clinical and intercultural psychologist, she worked for a few years in the corporate field in Paris. Simultaneously, she studied Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra, meditation and Indian philosophy with different masters, and she taught yoga and translated books on Indian spirituality and philosophy into English and French, in her spare time. Finally in 2014, she decided to devote herself fully to these activities, and since then, she spends her time teaching yoga and translating works by masters of yoga and advaita-vedanta such as Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Ramesh Balsekar, Ganapatrao Maharaj, Swami Rama, Swami Shashwat...
