Susan Rose

Susan Rose is a Tony award winning Broadway Producer as well as Film Producer. She produced the original Broadway production of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT in 1982 nominated for seven Tony awards including Best Musical. Susan was the youngest person to have produced a Broadway show. Her other credits include the Tony nominated HURLYBURLY, BLOODKNOT, THE NERD; the Tony winning show for Best Musical THE BAND'S VISIT, MACBETH starring Daniel Craig, ILLINOISE and the Who’s TOMMY. She coproduced the Drama Desk Award winning musical THE LAST FIVE YEARS. Susan and Joan Stein created the play MOTHERHOOD OUT LOUD written by fourteen award winning female playwrights. Susan has produced several films including the Emmy nominated COOLER CLIMATE starring Judy Davis and Sally Field, the Emmy winning JACK starring Stockard Channing and Ron Silver as well as others. She is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
