Charlotte Chaplin

Charlotte Chaplin is an author and communications professional, and has a degree in English Literature from the University of Sussex.

She was born in Bromley, Kent, and now lives with her husband and two daughters close to where she grew up.

A self-confessed bookworm, Charlotte has always enjoyed creating stories for little people. Seeing how her own children devoured stories propelled her to publish her first children’s picture book, ‘The Migrating Millimunger.’ The book has a strong message about being kind and accepting of others, especially in times of need. These are values she hopes her children will take into their adult lives.

She says, “One of my favourite times of day is story time! I read multiple books to my children every day and love to see their reactions to them. My eldest laughs out loud and even sometimes cries in empathy at the books we read – my heart bursts every time. I hope my books will create similar moments for other families.”
