I worked in the Health Service as a Biomedical Scientist in Haematology and Blood Transfusion.
In those years I wrote a number of research papers and scientific articles all involving blood blood banking, was an invited speaker at many conferences and was involved in the teaching of the discipline. Later I later started my own company, manufacturing antibodies and reagents used by blood transfusion and transplant laboratories.
Now retired from the commercial world, I relax with my wife and two daughters, living in Central Scotland and spending some time on the beautiful Island of Bute.
