Nolan Parker was born in Cork, Ireland, in 1975, to an Irish mother and an Italian father from Tuscany. Growing up between two languages and cultures shaped his unique perspective on people and communication. From a young age, he spent hours observing gestures, expressions, and conversations, turning curiosity into a lifelong study of human behavior.
During his university years in Dublin, he explored literature, philosophy, and social sciences, later applying these insights in training and corporate consulting. Eventually, he devoted himself full-time to writing.
His books examine the hidden dynamics of communication, manipulative behavior, and dysfunctional traits like narcissism. Known for a clear, engaging style, they combine practical examples with reflections on self-awareness and social interaction.
Today, Nolan splits his time between Galway and Florence, blending writing with travel and quiet moments of reading and nature. He believes that observing others closely is the key to understanding both them and oneself.
