Normande Mercier

Since childhood, the sky has always been an important part of Normande Mercier's life. At the age of 52, she fulfilled a lifelong dream by learning to skydive. That life-changing experience inspired her to become an author.

Her first book, The Sky Gave Me Wings, tells the true story of courage, perseverance, and the freedom that comes from pursuing a dream.

Encouraged by her readers' many questions, she went on to write Skydiving – The Challenge of Freefall, a book designed to introduce readers to the exciting world of skydiving. An English digital edition will soon be available.

With her third book, Free Flight: Hang Gliding – Paragliding – Gliding, she invites readers to discover three unique ways of exploring the sky. The English eBook, Free Flight, is already available on Amazon.

Through her books, website, and articles, Normande Mercier shares her passion for aviation and aerial sports. She enjoys connecting with readers and encouraging them to dream big, embrace new challenges, and believe that it is never too late to make a lifelong dream come true.
