Mr Mark Elliott

Hello, Thank you for visiting my Author Page. My name is Mark and I am based in the UK in northern England.

I love the outdoors and spend most of my free time there. I have been a fanatical fisherman for around fifty years, enjoying all types of fishing. I like variety. For me, being outdoors and immersed in nature feeds my soul.

In my younger and fitter years, I hiked extensively in the UK and overseas. I loved the challenge of climbing mountains and have scaled peaks in the Himalayas, Russia, Borneo and The Alps.

I spent most of my career working in area management roles for some of the UK's largest breweries and pub companies.

I had my first book published around fifteen years ago and have written articles for national and regional magazines. I was a professional photographer for many years and also taught photography.

Today, I split my time between working in the fishing tackle trade and writing part-time....and going fishing as much as possible!
