Daniel Roy Lehman

Forgive me, I am never quite sure what to put here, but I'll try my best. My name is Daniel, and I've been a nerd my entire life. I've always had a love of books, video games, movies, TV shows, Table Top RPGs, any manner in which fiction can be absorbed, I've likely tried it and loved it. I was even a Mathlete, once upon a time (if you don't know what that is, count yourself lucky).

I wrote my first piece of fiction in third grade for a creative writing assignment. We were supposed to turn in a paragraph, I turned in thirty six pages. The teacher suggested I look into writing as a job, but the idea was ridiculous, it wasn't something people did. That's like telling someone just to win the lottery, or become a movie star.

Well, as time went on, I ended up conversing with a few of my favorite authors (R.A. Salvatore and Anne Rice), and found out, much to my surprise, that they were just people like you and I. With a little encouragement from them, I started out on my path as a writer.

It is because of them that I can say: I am a proud husband of a wonderful wife, an even prouder father of two wonderful kids (at the moment they are 19 and 3), and a writer of fantasy and fantasy related things.
