Demi Cheryl is a Canadian poet born and raised in Ontario, Canada. Her writing often explores issues surrounding the opposing essence of humanity in areas such as life, love and loss. Her favourite genres to read and write include YA fiction, poetry and romance. She is passionate about ending the stigma around mental illness which is evident in many of her poems as she openly pens her journey navigating Bipolar disorder and her struggles with Social Anxiety. Aside from writing, she loves exploring bookstores, expressing herself through artistic endeavours, immersing herself in music, being in nature doing anything that nourishes her soul. Her published works include her debut collection "Everything in Between," published in 2018, an ongoing feature in "Grace Go Bloom Magazine," and her upcoming poetry chapbook "Out of the Blue," available August 11, 2023.
