As an older retired person from Minnesota, I began to have interest in the beginning and progression of this new virus from Wuhan China at the beginning of 2020, I thought about early diseases which impacted earlier generations, and how little we knew about them. My mother for example, born in 1915, the youngest of 12, lost three brothers to diphtheria. I decided to begin a journal of the progression of COVID for future generations of my family. Little did I know the impact this disease would have on our communities, our schools, our health community, or churches, and the response to following directives to help others and the number of deaths which spared no one, or any part of the world. I studied and detailed it's progression and response in the worldwide community. 2020 was TORN BY COVID
