Dr. Myava Clark is an Amazon bestselling author. She began her career as a respiratory therapy clinician before dedicating her life to advocating for families of children with learning differences and disabilities. Dr. Clark navigated different aspects of the respiratory care profession, including being a respiratory therapist for both adults and pediatrics, a laboratory specialist, a clinical instructor, and a college professor. She became an advocate for children and parents after she maneuvered the special education system with her son. Based on these personal experiences, she was able to turn pain into passion and give meaning to the experiences that they encountered.

Dr. Clark Co-founded CASEN (Collaborative Advancement for Social-Emotional Needs) LLC with her son Chris Jr. CASEN has four platforms: CASEN Outreach, CASEN Education, CASEN Connect, and CASEN Parents. These platforms are used to meet the needs of children and their parents, focusing on children with learning differences and disabilities through bullying identification, social-emotional development, mental health development, and social media readiness. She also provides consultant services for parents and administrators to help meet the needs of children by bridging the gap between home and school.
