Dr. Maria Garraffa, BA, MSRes, PhD, is Associate Professor in Global Health - Language Sciences at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK.

She is an active researcher and public speaker working at the intersection of language learning, global health, and education, promoting equitable language development, decolonising language education, and supporting children’s linguistic rights in marginalised and crisis-affected communities.
