Anvil Long

Anvil Long was born in rural Oklahoma. His early years were spent in California and Oklahoma. He studied engineering at a major university in the Midwest and went on to forge a successful career in industrial technology. Anvil’s professional career provided him the opportunity to live and work in many different cities in the US as well as in Europe and the Pacific Rim.

Anvil recently retired from his professional career and discovered that writing is calming and a means to release suppressed feelings. His first publication “Who Am I; Mending a Lost Identity” has received literary acclaim as a 2023 Next Generation Indie Book Award category winner and 5-star ratings from both Readers Views and Reader Favorites.

Anvil currently lives in the Midwest where he enjoys attending music festivals, riding motorcycles and frequenting coffee shops and brew pubs.
