Michel Koch is an e-commerce and omnichannel expert with 25 years of experience in digital and retail.
A digital pioneer at Sony Music Europe in the 90s and author of several educational and cultural CD-Roms, he subsequently held several eCommerce & digital management positions in French and international multi-channel B2C and B2B companies (including Bertelsmann, Manutan International, Quelle-3Suisses, Conrad Electronics, Camaïeu).
Michel Koch spent 6 years in the UK, notably with Marks & Spencer and Maplin Electronics to operate their omnichannel strategy and develop their international eCommerce. Most recently, he led the marketing transformation of media giant TIME inc in the UK as CMO.
From 2018 to 2023, he led Diamart Connect (formerly Institut du Commerce Connecté), an international think tank and organiser of events and training courses specialising in innovation and digital transformation in retail, based in Paris.
Connected to both retail ecosystems and start-ups, Michel is an advisor to several retail organisations in France and the UK, as well as to retail technology start-ups and specialist applications. He is also a member of the advisory board of startups Securcles.com (FR) and CatchApp (UK), and co-author of "Pro en e-Commerce" (published by Vuibert in 2022).
