A.W. Strouse

A.W. Strouse, Ph.D., is a queer experimental writer. They are the author of two books of poetry (Gender Trouble Couplets and Transfer Queen), a critical memoir (My Gay Middle Ages), and an academic monograph (Form and Foreskin). Their latest title, The Gentrified City of God, develops a queer theory for finding spiritual meaning in a world overrun by capitalist imperialism. They are currently writing a gay history of Mexico City’s subway system.
