John J. R. Lee
John Lee is Professor of New Testament at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author or coauthor of several books, including Christological Rereading of the Shema in Mark’s Gospel (Mohr Siebeck, 2020), A Ransom for Many (Lexham Academic, 2023), The Divine Christology of the Apostle Paul (IVP Academic, 2024), and Going Deeper with New Testament Greek Workbook (B&H Academic, 2025).
He holds an M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in New Testament from the University of Edinburgh. He also pursued additional studies at Tübingen University in Germany.
