Vishal K. Gupta

Vishal K. Gupta is a renowned professor, globally recognized writer, and well-known speaker. Currently, he is on the faculty of The University of Alabama. Prior to entering academia, he worked in the family business of machine tools. His books ‘Great Minds in Entrepreneurship Research’, ‘Foundational Research in Entrepreneurship Studies’, and ‘Modern Classics in Entrepreneurship Research’ were published by Palgrave. He is also a co-editor of 'Research Handbook on Strategic Entrepreneurship' published by Edward Elgar. His text ‘Small Business: Creating Value Through Entrepreneurship’ was published by Wiley. He has won several awards for his research and writings on entrepreneurship and management.

VKG was born in Punjab (India), and now lives between Alabama (USA), Faro (Portugal), and Delhi (India). He has an engineering degree from Punjab Technical University (India) and PhD from University of Missouri (USA). It was at Missouri that he first started writing seriously, an interest that has since developed into a passion and vocation.
