Jessica Rota

Jessica Rota is an Italian writer, independent author, and cultural promoter, with a career that combines writing, creativity, and editorial development.

She began her journey in the world of writing at a young age, publishing her first poetry collection in 2008 with Kimerik Edizioni. At the same time, from 2006 to 2009, she worked in theater and television as an author and producer, developing original formats including “Contenuti Extra,” an experience that helped shape her creative and narrative approach.

During the COVID period, she began her self-publishing journey, releasing her first fairy tale, “Alisea e l’occhio del drago,” marking the beginning of her independent publishing career. This was followed by other narrative works such as “Akira e il coraggio di essere se stessi,” “Super Hero tutti possono essere eroi,” “Fiabe che incantano cuori che sognano,” and “Il diario segreto di Lady Snide,” where she explores themes of personal growth, courage, and self-discovery, maintaining an accessible yet emotionally engaging style.

Over time, she has built a wide editorial catalog including school notebooks, bullet journals, creative diaries, and coloring books, also published in multiple languages such as Italian, English, and Spanish. She is also the creator of the original character “Lady Snide,” an ironic, elegant, and sharp figure that blends social observation with a theatrical narrative style.

In addition to writing, she is the founder and president of L’Accademia dei Sogni di Carta, a cultural association dedicated to promoting reading and supporting emerging authors. She created the format “Speed Book Day,” defined as the first “sofa book fair,” allowing writers to present their works online in a direct and engaging way.

She is currently working on her first young adult fantasy adventure saga, now at its second volume, still unpublished, with a working title connected to the world of Kukulkan.
