Deidre Grieves

Deidre Grieves is a journalist and preemie mom who experienced two NICU stays following the birth of her sons. Her first boy, August, was born 6 weeks early and spent over a month in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Her second son, Weston, was born at term, but had a 4-day NICU stay due to low blood sugar. The experience fueled her to write her first children's book "Small But Strong" to commemorate the journey of prematurity and the miracles and milestone that come along with parenting preemies. She recently released "The NICU Graduate" to celebrate two of the happiest days of her life -- the days when her babies came home. Deidre lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband, 4-year-old and 2-year old son, and crazy Goldendoodle.
