Diego J. Roqueta Ibert

Born in 1992 in eastern Spain, specifically in Valencia, I grew up living what many would consider a “normal” life. Like so many others, I followed a fairly typical path: school, science-focused high school, university studies, and finally, passing competitive exams to secure a permanent job as a civil servant. Until the age of 28, I had never really considered going beyond that framework.

However, it was precisely at that age when something shifted. I felt a new sense of restlessness, a deep need to grow and educate myself, especially in the financial realm. From that point on, I began reading books on finance and entrepreneurship almost compulsively, and spent countless hours consuming related content on YouTube.

That initial curiosity turned into passion and, over time, into practical knowledge. I learned how to invest, developed my own investment strategy, and after years of study and experience, I decided to share everything I had learned in my book Financial Muscle: How to Achieve Financial Freedom with Index Funds and ETFs.

Today, that strategy not only yields great results for me, but also allows me to help others walk the path toward their own financial freedom.
