Parris Elliott

Naevia Thompson, like her book character, is a science loving eight-year-old. She enjoys karate and swimming and loves animals. She wants to be either a vet or an astronomer when she gets older. Parris Elliott is a special education teacher in Northern Virginia. She holds an MBA in media management from Metropolitan College of New York and a Master of Science in special education from Radford University. Naevia and Parris live with their two cats, Chloe and Katerina.
