Natalie Carr is a British poet and author, who lives in the town of Redditch in the midlands. She is a self employed mother of two who uses her experiences of motherhood and suffering with mental health problems to write and connect with others. Her aim with her writing is to make sure no one ever feels alone in their struggles and encourages more people to take to writing to help them on their journey to healing.
As well as writing poetry and short stories Natalie enjoys making jewellery as part of her business Athena’s Bounty (lovingly named after her daughter). You will find her with her head stuck in a book or bingeing a good series from one of the many streaming platforms.
Natalie has two collections of poetry, with many more on the horizon. She one day hopes to delve into children’s books too and inspire a new generation to fall in love with poetry like she did when she was nine, when gifted the flower fairies library.
