Dr. Cynthia Colón is the author of Be Committed! Get Admitted., founder of College Essay Bootcamp and host of Destination YOUniversity podcast. “Cyndie” grew up with 14 Tíos and Tías with advice on everything except how to get admitted to college. Cynthia's immigrant mother had the courage to ask for help and changed the trajectory of her life. Because of Lydia (Mom), Cynthia is an alumna of USC, Columbia University, and UCLA. Dr. Colón is on a mission to close the education gap by first closing the information gap. Dr. Colón has been featured on KTLA, ABC, NBC, FOX 5, KCAL, WGN, WKRC, and in Latina Style.

Dr. Colón and her team have worked with over 10,000 students from over 80 high schools and more than 20 states. Alumni students have been admitted to: Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Morehouse, Howard, Cornell, Brown, MIT, Georgetown, Spelman, USC, UCLA, Berkeley, Notre Dame, U Michigan, U Washington, UT Austin, and many more.

Dr. C loves all things collegiate (especially football) and enjoys reading, running, and pilates or yoga on the daily.
