Hello everyone,

I am a historian who reads, writes and lectures on the American West. I am now in my older years, ( I recently celebrated my Golden Wedding Anniversary,) but I still enjoy talking to people about the American West, particularly the 'Indian Wars', a fascinating subject and one very dear to my heart. I am also keenly interested in the English Medieval period. Oh what intrigue lurked behind their doors!

I am married, with two children and a very large German Shepherd, and I live in Leicestershire.

My new book available on Amazon, 'The Battle of the Little Big Horn: a new appraisal' took over 30 years to research and its sequel, 'The Aftermath of the Battle of the Little Big Horn' will be available at the end of the year.
