Carde Jean

Carde Jean currently lives in Hawai'i with her husband Ray, Kiko the cat, two dogs-Boden and Rocksie, a duck, several chickens and rabbits, and Derek, her pesky pet rooster.

She is an avid gardener, and loves to read and write just about any genre, but at the moment is concentrating on her romance series, Once Upon a Griffin.

Not much for city dwelling, Carde can be found paddling her outrigger canoe in Hilo Bay, running an Ethnobotanical Garden at the Wailoa Art Center, helping out at the Master Gardener helpline and greenhouse, or in her garden pulling endless weeds and sowing the seeds of her self-sustainable mini-farm.

Once the sun goes down, or during rainy days, she's in her studio typing away at one story or another, or at her torch blowing glass and making glass beads.

For Carde, life is way too short to take things slow!
