Megan Mann

Hi there! I was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Journalism and moved to Austin, Texas in January of 2022 with no job and without ever visiting the city. I now work full-time at a job I love and have more motivation than ever to work toward my goals.

I am known as the “free spirit” of my family, as I have typically taken the unconventional path in life. I have experienced a lot of loss which ultimately led to my love for writing. I turned my pain into my passion and used writing as an outlet to cope with grief. Writing has not only allowed me to heal on my own, but it has connected me with so many others who have been through similar situations. I realize that my journey is allowed to look different than everyone else’s, and I get to define what success means to me.
