Mr Gordon James Cook

Gordon Cook is an aspiring writer, a real-life commercial manager, and a keen festival and gig goer. Hailing from the UK’s West Country (close to a well-loved town called Stroud) he is Rosella House’s bestselling author (currently Rosella House’s only author but that’s by the by).

To date, his prolific writing career has seen him pen several titles. In the past he has also contributed writings to a local paper (more of a quote really) and a well-known credit management magazine (about a game he once invented). The author is also a founding member of the indie rock band Parousia (not the relatively well known one from Buffalo USA, rather the relatively unknown one from Stroud). In addition, he holds a Psychology degree.

His writing style is… well, it is a little different. Within the pages of his books, you can expect to find fantasy mixed with reality. Fact blended with non-fact. Murder, intrigue, love and loves lost. A gaggle of talking creatures. Blue monkeys, red dragons, and a chosen one - creator of worlds with windchimes for fingers. All coloured with a healthy dose of humour, lightly sprinkled with cynicism and highlighted here and there by eyewitness social commentaries.

Specifically, you will find the present, the future and the past all in one place and, if you are there at the right time, you may even find yourself.
