Fred Phillips
Fred Phillips has been writing stories since elementary school when they were pecked out with two fingers on a manual typewriter found in a closet. He spent nearly 20 years telling true stories as an award-winning writer and editor in the newspaper business before he finally escaped. During that time, he also wrote book and music reviews and stories for various publications, websites, and a national wire service. Fred now works in communications for a Fortune 500 company. He was born and raised in Louisiana, where he still lives with his family and a couple of cats who adopted them. When he’s not exploring worlds of fantasy and horror, he’s usually exploring the swamps and bayous of his home state with his teenage son.
