Liane M. Feldman

Liane Feldman is a scholar of Hebrew Bible and Second Temple Judaism. She will be joining the faculty at Princeton University in Fall 2023 and is currently an assistant professor at New York University. The focus of her research is on priestly writings, sacrifice, and sacred space. She is the author of The Consuming Fire: The Complete Priestly Source from Creation to the Promised Land (2023) and the award-winning The Story of Sacrifice: Ritual and Narrative in the Priestly Source (2020).
