Jamie Shemesh

Jamie Shemesh’s debut novel, The Embedded, came from a vivid dream that she had one night after a long day of teaching her fifth and sixth grade students. She woke up and put pencil to paper and wrote the beginning of a story that contains multi-dimensional characters, a strong plot, and crazy amounts of twists and turns. A lover of reading and writing, Ms. Shemesh majored in English and taught Language Arts for 18 years. She always knew that she wanted to write a novel that would appeal to both teens and adults.

Jamie Shemesh raised her children and taught in New Jersey and now resides in sunny Florida with her husband. When not writing, she loves traveling and exploring new destinations.
