Pierre Bezencon

Pierre Bezençon was born in Switzerland. As a teenager, Pierre had a spiritual experience with the Risen Lord that shaped his whole life. He heard God's call and dedicated his life to serving Him.

Pierre began his living relationship with God in Taizé, an ecumenical monastic community. Prayer, Bible meditation, and a passionate love for Jesus were the foundations of his life of faith. These three elements, present in the lives of these monks, are part of his spiritual DNA.

Pierre and his wife Laurence have a master’s degree in theology and have served God full-time as pastors and Bible teachers for over thirty-five years.

His ministry was marked by several seasons of intense Holy Spirit activity. He has witnessed God's supernatural and miraculous interventions that demonstrate the reality of His Kingdom already present on earth. He longs for times of spiritual awakening in which whole groups taste the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit.

Before moving to the United States, Pierre lived mainly in Switzerland. He also spent a few years in Denmark, where he helped train a generation of God's servants in an international Bible school.

He has carried out numerous short-term missions in several French-speaking and English-speaking West African countries and worked in France.

Pierre and his wife Laurence ran the training center and church they had founded for over sixteen years. They worked mainly with couples and in the training of God's servants.

They moved to Kansas City in 2018, and Pierre joined the Kansas City International House of Prayer and worked there for five years in the Israel Mandate.

As part of their own ministry, Pierre and Laurence are currently dedicated to encouraging prayer for Israel and sharing the treasures God has revealed to them in the last twenty years concerning the Jewish roots of the Christian faith, Jesus' Jewish identity, and His love for Israel.
