Shauna Joseph

Shauna Joseph, a gospel recording artist, playwright, actress and artisan, resides on the beautiful island of Grand Bahama in the Bahamas. A passion for reading came from her mother and overtime this developed into writing short stories and comedic skits. As a child Shauna was always writing something, a pen and paper was always nearby but singing was at the forefront and that’s what she pursued.

Even though music became a big part of her life she never stopped writing but they were always tucked away in a drawer. The day she embraced her talent for writing was when the short skits were removed from the drawer and graced the stage. Those short skits eventually grew into major stage plays. This fueled the fire to keep writing and to revisit the book ideas that were written down years ago. In November of 2014 she became a published author releasing her first novel ‘To Begin Again’ book one from The Fresh Start Series followed by book two ‘Second Chance’. The collection is now complete with ‘A New Day’

Today, most of her work reflects her Caribbean upbringing and culture. She enjoys writing books that are filled with mystery, drama, suspense, romance and a hint of humor from a Christian perspective.
