Erin Rovin

Erin Rovin has lived in New Orleans, the Poconos, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. She currently resides in New Orleans with her two young daughters, Story and Nouvelle.

Rovin’s writing career has spanned over twenty years and includes multiple celebrity gossip publications, online investigative reporting, a New Orleans City Guide examiner, and creator of a local fashion column.

Rovin graduated from the University of the Arts where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art.

Before her writing career Erin worked in the feature film industry for an Academy Award winning producer, assistant on the live TV show, Dancing with the Stars, and as makeup artist for special events, commercials and theater. Currently, Rovin works for the national publishing company, Arcadia Publishing.

Erin Rovin has authored six children’s books with Pelican Publishing. The most recent being ‘It’s Hot in Louisiana’ and ‘It’s Raining in Louisiana.’
