Suzanne M. Stauffer

I'm embarking hopefully on my third career. First career was librarian, then professor of library science, and now, writer of historical fiction so -- books and history! I've lived and worked in Utah, Spain, New York City, Los Angeles and LA County, Baton Rouge, and now Albuquerque. I spent summers in Holbrook, Arizona, and in all of the national parks in the Southwest, from Mesa Verde to the Grand Canyon to Yosemite, and many state parks. The Southwest is in my blood! I love film noir, the Golden Age of mystery (including hard boiled), Victorian literature (especially women authors), E.F. Benson and Dorothy Sayers. In addition to reading, I love travel, gardening, cooking and baking, and most forms of needlework. I live in Albuquerque with my Australian husband and our rat terrier dogter, Tremé.
