Carolyn Wild

Carolyn Wild is a primary teacher with over 25 years of experience and the author of the Wild Acres Farm Series. She lives on a working farm in British Columbia with her husband, Geoff, where real animals and everyday moments shape her stories.

Rooted in farm life and family, Carolyn creates engaging picture books that blend real photography with colourful illustrations. Her stories help young readers build literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies skills while connecting with community and nature. Designed for ages 4–8, her books include leveled text, sight words, rhymes, counting, science, and social studies concepts, picture clues, and guided reading tips that spark curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
