Alfred De La Zerda

I started my brand name "De La Zerda's Books" in 2013 when I decided to take a chapter out of my autobiography and self publish a novel "Acapulco". I had started a small journal in the 6th grade. At some point later in life I decided to write my story, so I began my autobiography. I wrote for many years, poems, songs (I play guitar), short stories, but always continued to write my life story. One day I thought to myself, what if I never finish my story? That's when the idea hit. I'll take an interesting chapter and try my best to write a novel. That's when I joined CreateSpace/KDP (2013), and self published my first novel. I next realized how fulfilling writing children's stories expanded my imagination. So I started to specialize in the children's stories. My name is Alfred De La Zerda. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and I'm a 1970 Thomas Jefferson H.S. Mustang Alumni. I was a Restaurateur most of my life, "Alfredo's Mexican & Seafood Restaurant". I like swimming, playing my guitar, writing, and staying fit. I play a little golf, fish, play poker, and watch all kinds of sports.

When I do a presentation (also printed in the back of all my children's books) is what I trruly believe to be my message to the children.
